At TOUCH ENGLISH, we believe education goes beyond textbooks. True learning inspires individuals to grow not just in knowledge—but also in compassion and awareness of the world we share.

Each year, we organize a meaningful CSR initiative to give back to our planet. This year, we proudly collaborated with Jabatan Perhutanan Negeri (www.forestry.johor.gov.my) for a Mangrove Replantation Event. Together with our students and dedicated team members, we stepped out of the classroom and into nature—to protect and preserve Malaysia's coastal ecosystem.

In just one day, 508 mangrove seedlings were successfully replanted. These young trees are more than just plants—they represent resilience, restoration, and a greener future. We are deeply thankful for everyone who participated, including those who supported through donations and encouragement.

This event is part of our ongoing commitment to shape responsible global citizens—empowered through English, driven by purpose.

TOUCH ENGLISH in collaboration with Trash Hero Johor Bahru (www.trashhero.org), our latest CSR initiative took us to the beautiful yet polluted Gunung Pulai. Together with students and team members, we embarked on a meaningful clean-up hike—climbing mountain trails, crossing rivers, and collecting over 200KG of trash along the journey.

It was a challenging yet rewarding experience. While surrounded by nature's beauty, we were also confronted by its pain—countless plastic bottles, broken glass, and most heartbreaking of all, discarded baby diapers scattered along the trail. These items not only pollute the environment but pose serious dangers to wildlife and hikers alike.

This event reminded us that protecting the earth starts with awareness, followed by action. Every bottle picked up, every bag filled, is a small step toward healing our planet.

We are incredibly proud of everyone who participated and stood up for a cleaner future. Your effort is a true reflection of the values we teach—responsibility, empathy, and action.

In our latest CSR initiative, our students and team members headed to Desaru Beach for a meaningful beach clean-up campaign in collaboration with Trash Hero Johor Bahru (www.trashhero.org). In just one morning, we collected over 350KG of trash, including plastic bottles, food packaging, straws, and even broken glass—items that threaten marine life and harm our beautiful coastline.

What made this event especially powerful was the response from beachgoers and families having picnics nearby. As we cleaned, people stopped to ask questions, offered help, and expressed concern. Our actions sparked conversations—and more importantly, awareness. Seeing the amount of trash collected in such a short time was an eye-opener, reminding everyone that protecting our beaches is a shared responsibility.

This initiative is part of our ongoing mission to shape confident English speakers who are also compassionate global citizens. We're proud of our learners who showed leadership, teamwork, and care—not just in class, but in real life.

At TOUCH ENGLISH, we believe learning goes beyond the classroom — it's also about kindness, compassion, and community. Together with our students and internal team, we organized a food charity donation drive, raising 300 lunch boxes to support underprivileged families in need.

Our colleagues personally collaborated with local NGOs, taking the time to deliver the meals directly to the community. It was more than just a donation — it was a moment to connect, to listen, and to remind ourselves how every small act of care can make a big difference.

Through this initiative, we truly experienced what it means to work hand in hand and heart to heart. TOUCH ENGLISH is deeply grateful to everyone who contributed and continues to believe that compassion and education together can create meaningful change in society.

In celebration of Mother's Day and our commitment to giving back to Mother Earth, TOUCH ENGLISH proudly partnered with the Malaysian Nature Society (www.mns.my) for our second mangrove tree planting initiative. This time, we planted 400 mangrove seedlings along a coastal stretch near the main road, where the sea meets the land.

What made this initiative even more meaningful is its location. These trees now stand where nature meets the flow of daily life, visible to all who pass by—serving as a living reminder of our shared duty to protect the Earth. Each mangrove we planted today takes 20 years to fully mature, but we believe that the patience we invest now will become the legacy future generations inherit.

Mangroves are more than trees—they are protectors of coastlines, natural filters of our water, and homes to rich biodiversity. By planting them, we are not just greening the land—we are restoring balance and nurturing hope.

We are deeply grateful to all our students, team members, and partners who joined hands for this cause. Together, we plant not just roots into the soil—but also values into the hearts of those who believe in a better tomorrow.

At TOUCH ENGLISH, we believe that education is not only about learning — it's also about giving back. In collaboration with Yellow Bin (www.yellowbin.com.my), we launched a meaningful donation drive to collect books, clothing, and stationery from our students and team members for local orphanage homes.
Every item placed into the Yellow Bin carries a second chance — a story waiting to continue. A book once read by a student may now inspire a child to dream bigger. A set of unused stationery might help someone complete their homework for the first time. A shirt outgrown may become warmth for another.

This project reminds us that small acts of kindness can have a lifelong impact. While many may see old belongings as clutter, to someone else, they can be a symbol of care, hope, and possibility.

We're grateful to our TOUCH community for their generous contributions and to Yellow Bin for making this initiative possible. Together, we're not only supporting education in the classroom but also extending compassion beyond its walls.

Because sometimes, what we give away — gives someone else the strength to grow.

At TOUCH ENGLISH, we believe that caring for the environment is as important as nurturing minds. This year, our team returned for the second Desaru Beach Clean-Up (2.0) to continue spreading awareness about the importance of a clean and sustainable environment.

What made this round even more meaningful was the spirit of togetherness — many of our colleagues invited their family members and relatives to join hands in this impactful cause. Together, we worked under the sun, laughed, shared stories, and reminded one another that protecting our beaches means protecting the beautiful sea life that depends on it.

By the end of the day, we proudly collected over 250 kilograms of trash, leaving the beach cleaner and hearts fuller. This event reflects our belief that real change begins with small actions — when done with care, passion, and teamwork.

In one of our most heartfelt CSR projects, our dedicated team and students collaborated with 鸿福小炒 to prepare and distribute 500 lunch boxes for underprivileged communities.

This initiative wasn't just about giving food. It was about taking action, showing care, and making a real impact. From early morning preparations to organizing logistics and hand-delivering meals, our students stepped beyond the classroom and into the real world— Where kindness and teamwork matter just as much as grammar and vocabulary.

Together, we reminded ourselves and others that learning must inspire action, and that being a responsible citizen means contributing meaningfully to society.

CSR efforts like these align with TOUCH ENGLISH's goal to shape not just fluent speakers, but also thoughtful, community-minded individuals. By participating in this project, our learners gained more than language skills—they discovered the joy of giving back.
